How can I manage the inventory of medications in the machine?

  • You can manage the medication inventory on the device using the "Drug Dictionary" or through the web application UnitBox Manager.

Who is responsible for refilling medications in the machine?

  • That depends on your preference. We can assign different users specific permissions for this task.

Do you monitor temperature and issue alerts for deviations?

  • Absolutely. Temperature monitoring is visible on the device, and we can also send this information directly to designated individuals.

Can the device be used as a depot for hospital units?

  • Certainly. We just need to configure the device appropriately for this role.

What is the control process for this device?

  • Everything that happens with the machine can be tracked in the reports module of the UnitBox Manager web application. The inventory of medications inside the device can be audited traditionally for the entire pharmacy, but you can also check specific drawers, products, or batches.

Does the device check and manage medication expiration dates?

  • Yes. These data are read during loading, and the device subsequently monitors them.

Do all users have the same access to the device?

  • No. You can configure access, particularly limiting it to specific products or areas.

How can I receive information about the device's operation?

  • Selected data can be sent as reports to your email address. You can set the frequency and type of reports you wish to receive.


Do I need to adapt our pharmacy system?

  • If it's complete, no further action is required. We only need the EAN codes and dispensing units for the medications.

Do you support GIF decisions?

  • Yes, provided they are transmitted and managed within the HIS system.
